![]() The first time on 47 Lab was a little glimpse on Yoshis website - I like the calligraphies ... and I like the philosophy behind the 47 Lab devices from the first moment.
It is hard to get a little listening to some of the devices here in Germany. So I had to make a blind-buy. I do this sometimes - you never can hear any equipment in advance. I made a great find in London/GB ( Cheers Cato ! ). First I get the 4717 ... and than there was no constraining ... the CD and DAC followed immediatly ... and all the old Quads and Linns exhaled their life on eBay. The Kimber interconnects and speakercables followed ... they were exchanged to DNM Reson cables with Eichmann plugs. It's just hard to get some single pieces out of the OTA cable set ... so the nearest approach seems to be the DNM/Eichmann cable setting. Sound and performance of the complete system is exceptional ... I never heard this pure and open sound on any other equipment. ... and I love my old Scepters ... they are much, much better than you will expect. ... and I love every fingerprint on the brushed-stainless-steal ... I'm tired of cleaning and furbishing the covers ! Martin |
