I am a Hi-End hobbyist for only 2 years. Today, as the President of the Istanbul HI-FI Club, I would frankly state that the Flatfish - Gemini combination is the unique component that has achieved the syncronisation of the analog nature of sound with a digital re-creation. Such an achievement results in true life-like performance which is a rarity even in the Top-End world.

Today, I would describe my system to be extremely transparent and neutral with natural tonality; performing within a wide and deep soundstage. Either you audition Trio Performances or Symphonies, the performance is stable. Therefore, I feel confident to evaluate the front-end component performance with sufficient objectivity - within a serious audiophile's mental framework and expertise.

Among the tens of Cd-player & Dac combinations I have tried in my system (Each combination being worth 10.000 usd+), 47 Labs Flatfish transport and Progression Gemini DAC stands to be my final resort. My ear-brain referance has adjusted to the truthfulness of the source so quickly that I consider myself as blessed on the digital side as well.
