The system evolved around the Copland CTA-402 which I bought second hand a year ago. The JMR Evolution 3 speakers were added soon as my old JM Labs were no good companions for this amplifier. I tried Diapasons Adamantes III and Zingali 1S but the Evo's stayed in my home. The JMRs are hooked up to the Copland with JMRs HP.216A cable. I'm still considering to biwire this with OTA cable.

My cdplayer was very old and needed replacement as well. I started testing with simple 500 - 1000 euros cdplayers but found out that I had to spend much more to get a sound which satisfied me. I got very dissappointed when I was testing both the Naim CDX and Meridian 588 in my system as these still didn't please me 100%. Lucky enough Wilco (see showroom) introduced me to 47 labs.

I own the Shigaraki 4715/4716 combo now for a week and I'm already fond of out. It sounds great, looks cool and outperforms everything I had in my house before. And I'm still in the process of improving the sound as my systems needs fine-tuning.

There is only one hazard in this system : you get addicted to the product. The copland might trade places for the Shigaraki 4717 amplifier.!
