I have for around 40 of my 49 years on this planet enjoyed and loved listening to all kinds of music. From Lou Reed to Neil Young, Nils Lofgren to Cassandra Wilson to Patricia Barber and Holly Cole to the Killers and Kings of Leon and F Mac.

Music and hi fi are a passion for me. My passion has cost me several marriages (lots of money) and losing ex wives who did not and were unwilling to share my passion. I always walked away with only my hi fi and music collection.

I was a huge vinyl fan and had at one time 10000LPs and sold them all along with my turntable. I have always hankered after vinyl again until now !!

I have for the past 15 years enjoyed modest hi-fi systems and ridiculously expensive systems and i also have heard hundreds and hundreds of systems during this period.

Even when i had what i believed to have been my best systems i always thought but what if, I always though not quite as good as my mates !!

When i first heard 47 lab equipment i thought it was very special. With the Lens in place i thought superb but there was a what if ? What if there was just a little more bass.? What if there was just a little more presence.

Today i have experienced a transformation of my system that leaves my jaw dropping to the floor.

I have added Konus Essence and Kishomen cable to my 25 w humpty and gaincard and wadia 380. I am stunned and i mean that literally. No more what ifs !! No more i miss vinyl ? No more i wish it was as good as my mates.

The greatest compliment i can give my set up is this, if i won the lottery tomorrow i would not change a thing. A few tweaks perhaps (such as speaker placement etc, i have moved them out slightly from my pic) It is just magical. Thank you to the people on the forum and outside the forum who pointed me in the direction of the Konus and Kishemon.

Sead and Yoshi you are truly gifted and have transformed my love of music to an experience and settled state of bliss with no more what ifs.

I now have over 3000 cds to rediscover again and even dear old Lou Reed sounds special. !!
